Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was an CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politically biased report concerning the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the most erroneous mistake I made in my 10-year-old's watch." She was a part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media firm. 4 On January 4, 2020, she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed to have been "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan worked as a journalist for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989) which was followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as a senior producer. After four years of working for Reuters Television in Africa she began freelance journalism. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. She was a reporter for CNN covering events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war.
